October 19, 2010 at 8:00 amThis draft was loaded with decent all-star calibre players, but no player who could turn a franchise upside-down and none of them are hall of famers… I think Bulls made the right choice by picking Elton Brand, except that they made a huge huge mistake by trading him off 2 years later (after two decent 20+10 seasons) for this overly-hyped teenage phenom called Tyson Chandler

October 19, 2010 at 12:03 pmSo my varsity teammate goldenstatehoops just told me how he started dunking, he s shorter than me, he s only 5 6 but leaps over 9 inches higher! What he followed the workout over at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | and gained over 16 inches in his vertical jump!

October 19, 2010 at 2:29 pmi’ve been looking for this for so long. I’ll never forget Krause’s epic fistpump. Which is then only topped by him staring at his hands in disbelief. Quite possibly the goofiest reaction to someone winning the nba lotto in league history.

October 19, 2010 at 3:18 pmyeah from top to bottom, this was one of the most complete drafts in a long time. there was no franchise-changing player, like a lebron/carmello/wade, but all-star talent players were plenty in this draft: elton brand, steve francis, rip hamilton, shawn marion, barron davis, lamar odom, cory maggette, ron artest, jason terry, manu ginobili, andrei kirelinko, wally szczerbiak.

October 19, 2010 at 3:28 pmWhen I look at the talent back then to now……………..It seems like the talent level has been declining. You look at the highlights of those players back then till now, BIG DIFFERENCE.

October 19, 2010 at 4:02 pmeveryone they named has had great respectable careers besides wally szerbiaks weak ass

October 19, 2010 at 4:47 pmmanu ginobili was drafted so late, but look at him right now, what a magnificent player

October 19, 2010 at 5:04 pm@vcatequista Such an idiot, probably thought he could restart what he single handedly killed by firing Phil Jackson. Look at the Bulls now, they could have had one or two more championships.

October 19, 2010 at 5:43 pmYo goldenstatehoops, if you wish to get better in basketball, you have to start sticking with a legit workout plan. I used widely known training program at (50 inch vertical [dot] com). I didn t even tell this to my college teammates yet haha
WSBT960
October 19, 2010 at 6:07 pm@armstrong2mcgrady2k1 The reason? Ginobili still had 3 years left on his EuroLeague that included a giant buyout, scared away a ton of teams.

October 19, 2010 at 7:14 pmAfter this year, the NBA went through a 4 year drought of talent, until the famous class of 03. This was a very good year for NBA talent, and is often overlooked.

October 19, 2010 at 8:10 pm@wallstreetyoung lol dude do you know how a draft lottery works? hes not there to make draft picks, just merely representing his team at the lottery

October 19, 2010 at 8:22 pmWTF is Vince Carter doing making exec decisions for the Raptors only in his second year in the NBA???????? He’s the Man though, no doubt.
