Lewis is when it comes to logic and reasoning skills. Saves everybody some time. It seems to me that Chip is simply rationalizing his selfishness with regard to taxation for national health care and making a damn poor job of it, especially since Jesus's stance on it quite clearly would be the more charitable option. Ironically the writer goes on about what he considers "shoddy logic" yet displays no capacity for logic and reasoning himself. That would only make logical sense if it has been proven God does not exist. He assumes God does not exist then concludes that nothing could have influenced Lewis to "give in". But if there is a God then it would make perfect sense for someone to give in to the truth. @ninjatoothpaste
