I have heard a rumor that if somone wins a big lotto the store that sold the ticket, or the clerk recieves somthing. but I am not sure.

  • The store clerk doesn’t get anything. There isn’t usually a way to tell who sold the ticket. On the other hand, the store itself usually gets a few thousand dollars. The money is paid by the lotto operators (at least that is how it works for the California lottery).

  • The store gets some money and for every $1 sold in the lottery typically about .07 cents goes for retailer bonuses and commissions.

  • No, he cant get anything unless the winner will give him some.. LOL
