Ice Cube sits down with BlackTree TV to discuss his new film Lottery ticket. Kevin Carson (Bow Wow), a young man living in the projects, wins $370 million in a nationwide lottery. When his opportunistic neighbors discover he has the winning ticket in his possession, kevin must survive their greedy and sometimes ever threatening actions over a three-day holiday weekend before he can claim his prize. ICE CUBE (Mr. Washington / Executive Producer) has shown his creative talents in all phases of entertainment: as a film and television producer, director, screenwriter, rapper and critically acclaimed actor. He recently added documentary director when he delivered ESPN’s hit sports film “Straight Outta LA” Born in South Central Los Angeles, Cube developed an interest in hip hop music at age 16. In 1987, Cube and Dr. Dre released the EP “My Posse,” under the name CIA, which led to the formation of NWA Leaving NWA, Cube began a still-growing series of commercially successful and praised solo albums, starting with “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted.” His musical efforts have sold in the millions; and he is known as one of the originators of gangsta rap and heads his own record company.
